One Year, 1,335 Pests

Last night, we celebrated a fantastic milestone—our first anniversary and the removal of 1,335 pests from Tamahere! It was a casual evening of chat, drinks and nibbles, just perfect for reflecting on our achievements and catching up with each other.

A special highlight was Robyn Richardson’s fabulous Korimako cake. Not only did it taste amazing, but the bellbird decoration was a lovely touch that truly captured the spirit of our project.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful supporters who have helped us get up and running this past year: Kate at Waikato Regional Council; Ellen and Krissy at GoEco; Dallas Fisher; Stuart at Craigs Investment Partners; Ngāti Hauā Iwi Trust; Phil at Contact Electrical; Brian Perry Trust; Area Design; Mark Ewing Orthodontist; Winstones Aggregates and NZ AutoTraps. Your support has been absolutely essential in helping us get started and work towards our goal of protecting our native wildlife.

Thank you to everyone who has been out there trapping and contributing to our success. If you’re interested in getting involved and don’t yet have a trap, please get in touch. We have a range of hands-on and hands-off options to suit your needs. Here’s to continuing our work together and celebrating many more milestones!
